L’Heritage at the Thailand Wealth Management Forum 2026

L’Heritage was pleased to participate in the Thailand Wealth Management Forum 2026, held on 10 March 2026 at the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok.

Organised by Hubbis, the forum brought together leaders from private banking, wealth management, legal, tax, insurance and family advisory sectors to discuss the evolving needs of Thailand’s high-net-worth families.

Planning Beyond the Founder

Oak Samart, Managing Partner of L’Heritage, joined the panel discussion “Fail-Session or Succession?”, which explored the challenges business families face when transferring ownership, leadership and responsibility to the next generation.

The discussion highlighted that succession is not simply the transfer of shares or assets. Effective planning requires alignment across family governance, ownership structures, leadership readiness, tax considerations and long-term family objectives.

Beginning the process early allows families to clarify roles, prepare future leaders and establish structures that support continuity during periods of transition.

The Role of a Family Office

The panel also examined when families should consider establishing a family office.

As family wealth becomes more complex—spanning operating businesses, investments, multiple generations and international interests—a family office can provide coordinated oversight across governance, succession, reporting, structuring and next-generation development.

L’Heritage’s participation reflects its commitment to helping families preserve not only their assets, but also the purpose, values and decision-making frameworks that support wealth across generations.

We extend our appreciation to Hubbis, the moderator, fellow speakers and participants for a thoughtful and constructive exchange.
